Creative Marketing Assistant

Entry-level role.

 

The Role: The Creative Marketing Assistant will join our design team in an entry-level role but must have some college education. Any other knowledge in WordPress web design and Adobe Creative Suite graphic design is a bonus.

 

You will…

  1. Collaborate with the marketing project manager – Christie Macavei.
  2. Be trained in how to assist with various design projects including: design layouts, web design process, media management, posting and uploading content, plus copy writing templates.
  3. Educated in approaching clients, managing workflows and use the relevant tools to deliver exceptional digital designs.
  4. Assisting with day-to-day tasks.
  5. Have fun collaborating with experts in the web development and digital marketing world.

 

Role Requirements | Best Practices

  • You are available to work in person in downtown studio office in Salem – at least one day a week.
  • You are willing to learn new technology on a regular basis.
  • You are accountable and reliable. 
  • You work hard to complete all work tasks.
  • You have the ability to take direction and maintain a positive attitude.
  • You have some examples of portfolio links/files showing your best work.
  • You have excellent organization and strong communication skills.
  • You have at least some experience working in a creative marketing or design field. (Can be years of education)
  • You exercise effective decision-making skills where a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Knowledge in WordPress website design is a plus.
  • Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
